Surron Light Bee 2 Billet Suspension Triangle – CNC 7075-T6 Aluminum
The EBG Surron Light Bee 2 billet suspension triangle (rear shock linkage triangle) is CNC-machined in-house from a solid block of 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum. It replaces the slim, cast-aluminum stock triangle with a thicker, much stiffer billet part that connects the rear shock to the swingarm – keeping the rear end working smoothly and the bike planted and stable at high speed, through rough straights and when you lean hard into berms on a motocross track.

EBG Billet Triangle vs Stock Cast Triangle
The suspension triangle is the link between your rear shock and the swingarm, so every landing, square-edge hit and hard corner loads it. The Light Bee 2 stock triangle is a slim cast-aluminum part – cast metal can hide internal porosity and flexes more under load. When the triangle flexes, the swingarm and shock stop moving as one precise system and the rear end feels vague. Here is how the EBG billet triangle compares:
| Stock Light Bee 2 triangle | EBG billet triangle | |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturing | Cast aluminum | CNC-machined from a solid 7075-T6 billet |
| Body | Slim, thin-walled | Thicker, reinforced profile |
| Strength & stiffness | Flexes more under hard hits | 7075-T6 is one of the strongest aluminum alloys – far stiffer |
| Rear-end feel | Can feel vague when pushed hard | Shock and swingarm work together precisely for a stable, planted rear |
| High speed & berms | More flex under heavy cornering load | Holds its shape when you load the rear into berms and ruts |
| Finish | Plain cast finish | Anodized in 6 colors to match your build |
Built for Speed and Berms
In motocross, a berm is a banked corner – the dirt on the outside of the turn is built up into a wall so riders can lean in and carry speed instead of braking. Railing a berm puts a huge load through the rear suspension as the bike compresses into the bank. A stiff billet triangle keeps the linkage geometry consistent under that load, so the rear tire stays hooked up and the bike tracks where you point it.
- More stability at high speed – less flex in the linkage means a calmer rear end on fast, rough sections.
- Confident cornering – consistent shock action when you load the bike into berms and ruts.
- Tougher than cast – billet 7075-T6 resists bending from big landings and impacts.
- Matches EBG parts – colors match the EBG Primary Drive Pulley Kit V2 and pair with the Light Bee 2 Rear Sprocket, Floating Brake Rotor and other Surron Light Bee 2 parts.
What’s Included
- 1× EBG Surron Light Bee 2 billet suspension triangle in the selected color
Installation Notes
Support the bike so the rear wheel is off the ground before removing the stock triangle. Re-use or replace the pivot bolts and bearings as needed, grease all pivots and torque every bolt to the factory spec. Check the rear suspension moves freely through its full travel before riding.
