A Note From Our Founder

Hi, I’m Tú Dzap, the founder of E‑Bike Garage.

I have been interested in motorcycles since I was a kid. In 2015, I started riding and racing motocross in Vietnam. I also began working on modified motorcycle projects around the same time.

For me, modifying a bike was never only about making it look different. I wanted to understand why a part worked, where it struggled and what could be changed to make the bike operate better in real riding conditions.

In 2020, I discovered the Surron Light Bee. It was my first electric off-road motorcycle and a completely different platform from the motorcycles I had ridden before.

The bike had a lot of potential, but after riding it on different terrain, I also noticed several areas that could be improved. I heard similar feedback from other Surron owners, especially about braking, drivetrain performance and parts that were not designed for harder riding.

I started making small changes and testing different solutions on the bike. By 2022, those experiments had developed into parts that I could produce for other Surron riders.

At first, most of the people using our products were riders in Vietnam. This gave me the opportunity to see the parts being used in real conditions, listen to direct feedback and continue making changes when something could be improved.

In the middle of 2024, one of our customers shared an E‑Bike Garage product in an e-bike community in the United States. The product received more attention than I expected, and riders from outside Vietnam began contacting us.

That was when I realized the problems we were working on were not unique to riders in Vietnam. Surron and electric off-road riders in other countries were looking for the same kinds of upgrades.

On September 12, 2024, E‑Bike Garage officially began.

Today, we research, design, test and manufacture our products in Vietnam. Our main focus is on brake upgrades, pulley and drivetrain components, and CNC-machined parts for Surron, Talaria, E Ride Pro and other electric off-road motorcycles.

When developing a product, I care about how it works first. It needs to improve the bike in a useful way, fit correctly and remain reliable in real riding conditions.

But function is not the only consideration. A performance part should also look right after it is installed. We spend time on proportions, machining details and surface finishes so the final product works with the overall design of the motorcycle.

Before producing a part in larger quantities, we measure and test the prototype with dedicated equipment. We then install it on the bike and ride it across different terrain. If something does not feel or perform correctly, we revise it and test it again.

By August 2026, E‑Bike Garage had served more than 10,000 customers in different countries. The company has grown, but the way we develop products has not changed very much: ride the bike, understand the problem, build a solution and keep improving it through testing and rider feedback.
