One Brake Kit for Every Talaria, From Sting to XXX
Talaria shipped the Sting and early MX3 with a 203mm front rotor and moved the MX4, MX5 and XXX up to 220mm. Either way it is a fixed disc on a bike that weighs 56–75kg and runs past 75km/h. The V2 kit takes all of them to a 240 or 250mm floating rotor with a genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder.

Where the 30% comes from: 9–23% from rotor diameter depending on your model, the rest from pad compound, line stiffness and the caliper.
Sting, MX3, MX4, MX5 or XXX — the Bracket Is the Difference
Talaria changed the fork and caliper mount across the range, so a bracket cut for a Sting will not sit square on an MX4. Choose your model above and we ship the bracket cut for that fork, with the correct bolt spacing. Everything else in the kit is identical, which is why an upgraded Talaria and an upgraded Sur-Ron end up with the same brake.
Genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee Parts — Not Copies
The market is full of Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder copies. They photograph the same and cost less, and the difference is in the piston bores and the seals — which you find out on a steep descent. Every Talaria kit we ship uses genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee parts.
Which Talaria Brake Option Do I Need?
Pick your model first, then how much of the kit you need:
- Brake Kit + Front Rotor Guard + Rotor — complete, with rotor protection for rocks and ruts. Our most-ordered option.
- Brake Kit + Rotor — complete, guard left off.
- Brake Kit Only — for a bike that already runs a 240 or 250mm rotor.
- Front Brake Bracket Only — the radial mount bracket on its own, M6 x 68mm or M5 x 45mm.
Options that include a rotor let you choose the V2.1 or V3.0 rotor design. Both are 240 or 250mm at 3.5mm.
