Two Allen keys and a torque wrench are all you need. The same steps apply to the stock KKE, Sirris F43 and RFloXa Ultra43 versions.

  1. Rotor side: remove the front axle bolt (8mm Allen) and the lower caliper bracket bolt (6mm Allen).
  2. Slide the rotor guard into place, start the axle bolt by hand and snug it with the 8mm – don’t torque it yet.
  3. Refit the lower caliper bracket bolt and torque it to 25 Nm.
  4. Torque the front axle to spec (12 Nm on the axle locking nut in our setup – always check the spec for your own fork).
  5. Other fork leg: back out the two axle pinch bolts, fit the fork-foot guard with the supplied spacer, then torque the pinch bolts to your fork manufacturer’s spec.

Surron Ultra Bee Front Rotor & Fork Guard – CNC 7075-T6 with Titanium Bolts

The front rotor on the Ultra Bee sits right where rocks, roots and ruts hit first. One bent rotor means a pulsing lever, rubbing pads and a ride cut short. Most guards on the market only cover the disc. The EBG kit protects both sides of the front end: an open-frame guard wraps the rotor, and a matching fork-foot guard covers the bottom of the opposite fork leg. Both pieces are machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminum and fastened with titanium bolts.

Which Fork Do You Have?

  • Stock KKE Fork – the factory fork on the Surron Ultra Bee.
  • Sirris F43 – for Ultra Bees upgraded to the Sirris F43 fork.
  • RFloXa Ultra43 – for Ultra Bees upgraded to the RFloXa Ultra43 fork.

Each version is machined to the mounting points of that fork, so pick the fork you are running now, not the one that came with the bike. Not sure? Send us a photo of your fork leg and we’ll confirm.

Which Guard Size?

  • 240mm guard – for the stock 240mm front rotor only.
  • 270mm guard – fits both 240mm and 270mm rotors. Pick this if you run an oversize 270mm rotor, or plan to upgrade to one later.

Does it fit the stock Ultra Bee fork?
Yes – choose “Stock KKE Fork”.

I upgraded to a Sirris or RFloXa fork. Will the stock-fork guard fit?
No. Aftermarket forks use different mounting points – choose the version for your fork. We make a dedicated Sirris F43 rotor guard and RFloXa Ultra43 rotor guard.

Do I need to drill or modify anything?
No. The rotor guard mounts on the front axle and the lower caliper bracket bolt; the fork-foot guard mounts on the axle pinch bolts.

Will it fit my 270mm oversize rotor?
Choose the 270mm guard – it fits both 240mm and 270mm rotors. The 240mm guard fits 240mm rotors only.

Is the install different for Sirris or RFloXa?
No – the steps are the same for all three fork versions. Only the torque specs follow your fork manufacturer.
