Most foot-brake kits ship with plain zinc-plated steel bolts. Every EBG Sur-Ron Light Bee 2 Foot Brake Kit comes with a full set of Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) mounting bolts in the box – the same hardware you see on the bike in our photos.

• Lighter than steel: titanium is roughly 40% lighter than steel bolts of the same size, so the kit stays light where weight matters.
• Will not rust: titanium shrugs off mud, water and pressure washing – no orange streaks on your frame after a wet ride.

Compatibility and required brake setup

Mineral-oil warning: Do not mix DOT brake fluid with a mineral-oil caliper. If your original caliper uses mineral oil, replace it with a DOT-compatible caliper before installing this kit. Mixing fluids can damage seals and cause brake failure.

2. Install the foot-peg mount and adjust the pedal position for safe, unobstructed travel.
3. Route the brake line away from the chain, tire, suspension and hot surfaces.
4. Bleed the complete hydraulic system and check every fitting for leaks.
5. Test at low speed before normal riding. Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with motorcycle brake systems.

Can I use the stock mineral-oil caliper?

No. This kit is designed for DOT brake systems. A mineral-oil caliper must be replaced with a DOT-compatible caliper.

Can the hand brake and foot brake work together?

Yes. The supplied dual-input valve is designed to connect both controls to one compatible rear caliper when installed and bled correctly.

Are the bolts really titanium?
