The Closed-Shield Guard, in Seven Colours
Same brake as our V2 kit — a 240 or 250mm floating rotor, a genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder, semi-metallic pads and a steel-braided line — fitted with the classic closed-face rotor guard. On a Segway X260 that means the full lower face of the disc is shielded from rocks, not just framed.

What It Replaces on a Segway X260
The stock Segway X260 front rotor is 203mm across and 1.8mm thick, bolted rigidly to the hub. This kit takes it to 240 or 250mm at 3.5mm on a floating carrier — roughly twice the disc material and up to 30% more stopping power, most of it from diameter, the rest from the pad compound, the line and the caliper.
Genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee Hydraulics
The market is full of Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder copies. They photograph the same and cost less, and the difference is in the piston bores and the seals — which you find out on a steep descent. Every Segway X260 kit we ship uses genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee parts.
