73kg, 100km/h, and a 220mm Front Rotor
The Arctic Leopard XE Pro S — sold as the Vetra Blazer in some markets — is one of the heavier bikes in this class and is quoted at around 100km/h. It brakes on a 220mm fixed rotor. The V2 kit fits a 240 or 250mm floating rotor at 3.5mm, a genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder, and a steel-braided line.

Where the 30% comes from: 9–14% from rotor diameter alone, the rest from pad compound, line stiffness and the caliper.
This Fork Needs Its Own Bracket
The Arctic Leopard and Vetra Blazer use M6 x 50mm caliper mounting, where most of the bikes in this class use M5 x 45mm. A universal bracket will not line up. The bracket in this kit is cut for that fork specifically, which is also why this kit is listed separately rather than bundled with the Sur-Ron and Talaria fitments.
Genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee Parts — Not Copies
The market is full of Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder copies. They photograph the same and cost less, and the difference is in the piston bores and the seals — which you find out on a steep descent. Every Arctic Leopard / Vetra kit we ship uses genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee parts.
Which Arctic Leopard / Vetra Brake Option Do I Need?
Four ways to buy it:
- Brake Kit + Front Rotor Guard + Rotor — nothing left to order. Guard fitted over the rotor.
- Brake Kit + Rotor — same, minus the guard.
- Brake Kit Only — hydraulics and bracket, no rotor.
- Front Brake Bracket Only — M6 x 50mm radial mount bracket by itself.
Options that include a rotor let you choose the V2.1 or V3.0 rotor design. Both are 240 or 250mm at 3.5mm.
