What’s Included
- 1 EBG Surron Ultra Bee rear floating brake rotor in the selected size
- 1 set of fitment-specific titanium mounting bolts
- 1 CNC-machined 7075-T6 rear caliper bracket only when a bracket option is selected
Not included: Brake caliper. No bracket is included when No Bracket is selected.
Why Upgrade?
During repeated hard braking and long off-road descents, a rotor must manage heat while maintaining stable pad contact. This EBG floating rotor uses a heat-treated braking ring and a rigid aluminum carrier to support consistent braking response and reduce the risk of distortion through repeated heat cycles.
Materials and Construction
- Braking ring: Heat-treated 420J2 stainless steel for strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
- Rotor thickness: 3.5mm for increased rigidity and heat capacity.
- Floating carrier: CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum for high strength with lower rotational mass.
- Floating construction: Allows controlled thermal expansion between the braking ring and carrier to help reduce warping.
- Machined braking surfaces: Designed for stable pad contact and predictable braking response.
Installation Notes
Confirm the selected rotor size, wheel hub and bracket configuration before ordering. Keep the braking surface free from oil and grease, and bed in the rotor with compatible brake pads after installation.
